Longing...
The feeling is empty. And the struggle is the desire.
The hope is to be re-filled,
And the pain is in its waiting.
Once I look towards the horizon,
I saw the vision of the place I own.
Joy filled up my heart,
For the Lord has given me His sight.
Time has then passed and gone,
The wait is tiring and is painful.
Lord, Lord, how long more shall I wait,
Patience my son, is all I get.
Age has to pass...
And People will grow.
Dreams and hopes will change,
But the Lord shall stay steadfast.
The bird soars high above the ground,
Its graceful flight puts the ant to its shame.
Yet the ant never will understand,
Thrice its own strength it can stand.
I looked across the grassland,
I heard the gentle breeze...
I desire to see its beauty,
In the place God grants my rest.
For I stand longing,
As I beg him for release.
Into the open I shall be free,
And never again I'll tear...
---- prologue -----
How sweet the sound, In the morning...
Was blind but now I see, Visions of rapture,
Now burst on my sight. I'll fly away... fly away...
Holding your arms, we will fly together... away...
